Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a special focus on treating depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders in all adults and also in perinatal women. My work is grounded in evidence‐based care, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.

My clinical background includes comprehensive training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management in all adult population, and I’m committed to creating a collaborative environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. In addition, I have a particular passion for perinatal mental health, helping women navigate the emotional complexities that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Whether you’re seeking relief from persistent mood symptoms, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking for a space to better understand your mental health, my goal is to partner with you in a way that feels safe, personalized, and genuinely helpful. I look forward to supporting you on your path toward greater well‐being.

My approach to therapy

I approach my work with clients through a blend of warmth, collaboration, and evidence‐informed care. My style is grounded in truly listening—creating a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore what you’re experiencing without judgment. I believe that healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, and actively involved in their own treatment, so I work with you as a partner rather than an authority figure.

My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, and a range of mood disorders, with a particular passion for supporting perinatal women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transitions that surround these seasons of life. I pay close attention to the unique biological, emotional, and environmental factors that shape each person’s mental health, and I tailor care to reflect your goals, strengths, and lived experience.

In our work together, you can expect a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility. I value clear communication, shared decision‐making, and a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you’re navigating long‐standing symptoms or facing new challenges, my aim is to help you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to the life you want to build

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely welcomed. I take a calm, conversational approach, giving you plenty of room to share what brings you in and what you’re hoping to change or understand about your mental health. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust.

We’ll talk through your current concerns, your history, and what daily life looks like for you. I’m especially attentive to how symptoms show up in the context of your relationships, routines, and overall well‐being. For perinatal clients, we may explore how pregnancy, postpartum changes, or parenting transitions are affecting your mood and sense of self.

By the end of the session, we’ll identify a few initial goals together—whether that’s gaining clarity, finding relief from specific symptoms, or establishing a plan that feels manageable and supportive. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, grounded, and hopeful about the path ahead.
