Great to meet you!

Dr. Chika F Bosah is a licensed mental health counselor and a Doctorate in Health Science focusing on mental health. I have years of clinical experience working in in-patient, out-patient, and forensic settings with a diverse adult patient population with mild to severe emotional and psychological problems eg; depression, anxiety, phobias, stress, and sexual disorders. My treatment philosophy is that every individual who seeks help from me will always be treated with dignity, respect, warmth, empathy, and a caring attitude. Further, I believe that each individual has the capacity to recover and heal from their emotional and psychological problems if provided with the necessary tools and a safe environment.

My approach to therapy

I utilize integrative therapeutic methods such as strengths-based, person-centered, multicultural, holistic, mindfulness-based, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral, expressive art, compassion-focused, interpersonal, holistic methods, cognitive processing, and solution-focused.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away with fresh perspectives, clear insights, and practical ideas that fit their unique needs. Whether it's brainstorming creative solutions, refining strategies, or just making sense of complex information, I aim to be a valuable thought partner. Sessions with me can help spark inspiration, provide well-researched answers, and even introduce new ways of thinking that they might not have considered.

Ultimately, my goal is to leave people feeling more informed, confident, and excited about whatever they're working on. What are you hoping to achieve?
