Great to meet you!

Hello, I am glad you are here. Taking the first step towards your mental health is a big step, and I want you to know that you will be welcome with kindness, understanding, and zero judgment.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a unique background. Before becoming a provider, I spent 9 years as a registered nurse working closely with people experiencing mental health challenges. That experience taught me the importance of listening, understanding each person’s story, and treating the whole person not just the diagnosis. I earned my degree from Walden University and provide care for adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and bipolar disorder. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, supported, and involved in your care.

My approach to therapy

Every person has a unique story. My approach focuses on compassion, respect and open communication. I take time to listen and understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. I don’t believe mental health care should be one size-fits-all. My role is more than prescribing medication. I am here to support you through your journey whether that includes medication management, education about your treatment, or working together with other members of your care team.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a personalized treatment plan that is created around their individual goals, needs, and lifestyle. I believe healing begins with feeling heard and understood, and I will take the time to listen to your concerns, experiences, and what brings you to care. My goal is not only to help manage symptoms but to support you throughout your mental health journey. We will work together to make you feel better, build confidence, and improve your overall well-being and quality of life.
