Great to meet you!

I’m Chinwe Asidanya, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders through a holistic, strengths-based approach.

My focus is on understanding each person’s unique experiences and creating personalized treatment plans that honor their individuality. I believe that neurodiversity is something to be embraced—not “fixed.” I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and judgment-free space where every individual feels heard, respected, and supported—all from the comfort of your home.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and neurodivergent-affirming. I focus on understanding the whole person—mind, body, and environment—rather than just treating symptoms. I believe care should be collaborative, where you feel heard, respected, and involved in every step of your treatment.

Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I tailor care plans to each individual’s unique strengths, experiences, and goals. I integrate evidence-based treatment with supportive therapy, lifestyle guidance, and education to help you achieve balance and long-term well-being. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where every mind is supported to bloom in its own way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a safe and welcoming space to share your story at your own pace. I’ll take time to learn about your goals, challenges, background, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. Together, we’ll explore your mental health history, current concerns, and strengths to help guide an individualized plan of care.

I aim to make the process collaborative, comfortable, and free of judgment. You can expect empathy, active listening, and education about your diagnosis and treatment options. By the end of the session, we’ll outline next steps and begin building a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with your needs.
