Great to meet you!

My name is Chinwe. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. My clinical background includes experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse-related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and other complex mental health conditions.

My educational preparation and advanced clinical training have equipped me to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I am especially passionate about reducing mental health stigma and creating safe, affirming spaces where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I value cultural humility and strive to understand each client’s lived experience within the context of their family, community, and personal beliefs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and patient-centered. I believe that mental health care works best when we function as partners. I integrate evidence-based practice with a compassionate, individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals and values.

I utilize a combination of medication management and therapeutic techniques, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy. I consider biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors when developing treatment plans.

Above all, I prioritize creating psychological safety. You deserve care that is nonjudgmental, respectful, and

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you. I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which includes discussing your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals.

You can expect a thoughtful and thorough conversation, not a rushed appointment. There will be space for you to ask questions and share what matters most to you. Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and/or medication options when appropriate.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.
