My name is Chinyere Ezinne Chukwuka APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years experience in healthcare. I graduated from University of Texas School of Nursing, Houston, Texas with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and advanced to obtain masters degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. My areas of expertise include the treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, ADHD and OCD.

My clients and I have a friendly chat about their feelings and thoughts without being judgmental. Throughout their treatment, I cheer them on as they try new things and make progress, no matter how small the progress may be. I simply focus on being warm and understanding in order to help everyone feel safe and cared for. My clients should expect to leave a session with a personalized treatment plan, including specific goals and strategies to manage their health condition, which may involve a thorough understanding of their diagnosis, potential treatment options, prescribed medications, education on self care practices, clear next steps for follow up care, and a feeling of being heard, and actively involved in their health care decisions; ultimately aiming to improve their overall health and well-being.
