Great to meet you!

Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from UW-Milwaukee and an LCSW credential, Chinyere is an accomplished clinical and operational leader with extensive experience in behavioral healthcare. Chinyere's clinical expertise spans roles as a Therapist II and private practice Psychotherapist, where she specialized in evidence-based modalities, trauma-focused CBT, and interdisciplinary clinical consultation.

My approach to therapy

I offer goal-oriented, short-term therapy designed to help clients navigate anxiety, mild depression, major life transitions, and career-related stress or burnout. My clinical approach relies primarily on evidence-based frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) when appropriate, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Practicing within a solution-focused model, I work with clients over a number of structured sessions to build practical coping tools and achieve targeted goals, followed by as-needed maintenance check-ins to support long-term progress.

What you can expect from me

In your initial session, our primary focus will be on building a comfortable, collaborative rapport where you can safely identify and define the key challenges you hope to resolve. Together, we will uncover and inventory the unique personal strengths and existing skills you already bring to the table. We will then map out how to actively leverage these strengths within a personalized treatment plan designed to target your specific goals. As we work together toward practical solution-finding and effective coping strategies, this foundational framework will empower you to navigate life's challenges and move toward thriving.
