Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)–prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing evidence-based mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. My background includes experience in outpatient and community-based settings, with a focus on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention difficulties, sleep concerns, and other emotional or behavioral health challenges. My approach is collaborative and individualized, grounded in careful listening and practical treatment planning that aligns with each client’s goals and stage of life.

I value clear communication, respect, and creating a space where patients and families feel comfortable discussing their concerns. My aim is to support steady progress and long-term emotional well-being through balanced, patient-centered care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. I begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand each client’s history, current concerns, strengths, and goals. From there, we develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle considerations, and coordination with other providers when appropriate.

I value clear communication and shared decision-making. I believe clients should feel informed and actively involved in their treatment, with space to ask questions and express preferences. My style is calm, respectful, and practical, focusing on measurable progress and long-term stability.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention-related concerns, sleep disturbances, and other emotional or behavioral health challenges. My goal is to provide balanced, evidence-based care that supports overall well-being while considering each individual’s unique life circumstances.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and thoughtful evaluation. We will review current concerns, relevant history, past treatments, medical background, and any goals you may have for care. This initial meeting is focused on understanding the full picture so that treatment decisions are well-informed and individualized.

I aim to create a calm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. There is no expectation to have everything figured out the first session is simply a starting point.

By the end of the visit, we will typically clarify key concerns, discuss possible diagnoses if appropriate, and outline an initial treatment plan. This may include medication options, therapy recommendations, lifestyle considerations, or follow-up scheduling. The goal is for you to leave with clarity about next steps and a sense of direction moving forward.
