Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and life stressors.

I believe mental health care should feel collaborative, respectful, and empowering. My approach focuses on understanding the whole person—your symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and values—so we can create a treatment plan that truly fits you.

In my practice, I treat a myriad of psychiatric conditions, including Anxiety disorders, Depression, Panic disorder, Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), Major depressive disorder (MDD), Bipolar disorder (I & II), Mood disorders, Insomnia/sleep disorders, and Stress-related disorders. I specialize in medication management with careful attention to side effects, long-term wellness, and patient education. I also emphasize practical coping strategies and work closely with therapists when appropriate.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I welcome you to take the first step toward feeling better.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and personalized. I take time to truly listen and understand each person’s concerns, goals, and life circumstances before making treatment recommendations.

My approach is evidence-based and thoughtful, with a strong focus on safe, effective medication management and minimizing side effects. I believe in clear communication and patient education, so you feel informed and confident about your care.

I view treatment as a partnership. We regularly monitor what’s working, make adjustments as needed, and focus on long-term stability and overall well-being—not just symptom relief. When helpful, I also encourage therapy and lifestyle strategies as part of a well-rounded treatment plan.

Above all, I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you in. I will ask about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, and your goals for treatment. This is a judgment-free conversation, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

We’ll discuss potential treatment options together, including whether medication may be helpful, and I’ll take time to explain the recommendations, benefits, and potential side effects clearly. If you’re already taking medication, we’ll review how it’s working for you and make adjustments if needed.

By the end of the session, you can expect to leave with a clear plan, next steps, and a chance to ask questions. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident about moving forward.
