My approach to therapy

In therapy, we will work together as a team to get you to a place where you can make strides towards your goals and be able to thrive on your own. You are the conductor of your life, and we will take one step at a time until we ultimately reach your comfortable place.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where the focus is on building trust and helping you feel heard. I’ll start by building rapport and getting to know you—what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and what’s been feeling heavy or challenging lately (and we may have some things in common as well). I’ll also ask some questions about your background, emotional history, and current support system to help me understand the bigger picture.
