Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual therapist (Arabic and English) whose experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families in the areas of self-esteem, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Committed to cultural sensitivity, I strive to provide you with a respectful and inclusive environment that acknowledges and honors your unique cultural background.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In therapy, I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to guide you in achieving your goals. I believe in a collaborative approach where your voice is integral to the process. A collaborative approach means that we work together as a team. Together, we'll set goals that are meaningful to you and work towards them at a pace that feels right for you. We'll also explore challenges, discover strengths, and move toward the changes you want to see in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal in this session is to create a welcoming and supportive space where we can begin to build a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll start by exploring your concerns, goals, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I'll ask questions about your current challenges, history, and any key relationships or events that may be relevant. You'll also have the opportunity to ask me questions about anything related to our work together. This session is about you feeling comfortable and heard.
