Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Science in counseling, specializing in school counseling and clinical mental health from Texas A&M University-Commerce. With a deep passion for helping others, I entered the mental health field to provide a supportive resource for those seeking peace, clarity, and balance in their lives. I believe therapy is a courageous step toward embracing fears and insecurities while creating space for growth and healing. I view my role as a compassionate partner, walking alongside my clients as they explore life’s challenges and work toward fulfilling futures. Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, spending quality time with family and friends, and binge-watching my favorite series. While naturally extroverted, I have embraced a balance over the years, becoming more of an ambivert.

My approach to therapy

Using a blend of evidence-based approaches supports your unique journey toward healing and growth. Trauma therapy helps individuals process and resolve emotional wounds, reduce distress, and restore a sense of safety and empowerment. With Reality Therapy, we focus on personal responsibility and practical problem-solving, helping clients align their actions with their goals and values. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) examines the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling clients to challenge negative patterns and develop more effective coping strategies. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) enhances emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, and mindfulness, offering tools to manage intense emotions and build resilience. Additionally, Adlerian Therapy emphasizes individuality and purpose, exploring life experiences and social connections to foster self-awareness and meaningful personal growth. By integrating these approaches, we create a personalized therapeutic experience designed to help you navigate life’s challenges and achieve lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our initial session is all about getting to know you, your story, your goals, and what you’d like therapy to include. It’s a chance for us to explore what matters most to you and start shaping a plan that feels right. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable opening up and supported. From there, we’ll keep working together to move toward the changes and growth you want to achieve.
