Great to meet you!

I attended DePauw University for a Psychology and Anthropology double major with a public health minor and University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Social Work for my Masters. I have experience working in outpatient, community, PHP/IOP and residential settings particularly with OCD, panic disorder, illness anxiety and somatic symptom disorder, agoraphobia, emetophobia, other phobias, GAD, depression, eating disorders, and other diagnoses. I take an eclectic approach to find what works for you utilizing ERP, ACT, DBT, and CBT.

My approach to therapy

I take my work seriously, and would want the same from my own therapist. I am here to challenge you and help keep yourself accountable to meet your goals and live through your values. We can't just talk, we have to change how we behave. I love to add humor, creativity, and light heartedness to the heaviness that therapy can bring. I have been described as persistent, but know it is because I am here to make your world larger and brighter, not one controlled by your emotions, thoughts, and physical senstaions.

What you can expect from me

Expect a warm, inviting, and relaxed environment where I am doing my best to get the whole picture, but also understand that it will take time to gain your trust and build your story from your past, present, and future.
