Great to meet you!

Hi, My name is Chloe. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC with 30 years of clinical experience. My specialty is helping clients cope with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disturbances, family stressors, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss and more. I have also worked with clients struggling with substance abuse disorders. I have a masters degree in Professional Counseling and an LCADC, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I worked at Princeton House in the Dual Diagnosis Program, Men's trauma program, Senior Link program and Adult Psychiatric programs in Princeton for over 20 years. I started working in private practice in 2020.

My approach to therapy

I am a licensed therapist working with folks in NJ in individual therapy. I try to make therapy a natural process and most clients say that I feel like "talking to a real person". I've worked with folks from all walks of life and this has taught me to drop the artificial formalities, ask deeper questions, and say what I mean. In general, I start from the standpoint that anyone seeking therapy has come by their pain honestly and that much of what folks find distressing in themselves is a reasonable response to what has happened to them. I practice evidenced based therapy including CBT and DBT and motivational interviewing. If things are feeling heavy, let's talk.

What you can expect from me

I will partner with you in unpacking your past, moving through your pain, trusting yourself, and reaching creative solutions. I will help us reach a place where you can say what you really think and feel and, in doing so, understand yourself and what you need going forward.
