Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chloe. Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a holistic approach, identifying how the intersectionality of demographics and systems play a role in one’s life. I have experience working with individuals ranging from early adolescence and young adults through senior years. I have worked in both school settings and hospital settings, and with a ranging variety in diagnoses. I have experience working in perinatal mental health care, psychosocial oncology, palliative care and can provide care sensitive to one’s life stage.

I received my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in New York City, where I specialized in Advanced Clinical Practice. In New York City, I had the opportunity to work at NYP Weil Cornell Hospital as a Social Work Intern in the Outpatient Oncology Department. During the pandemic, I worked for a non-profit agency called I'RAISE Boys & Girls International, where I provided mental health services to students in elementary and middle schools, and their families, across the five boroughs.

Most recently, I worked at Providence Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach in the Mental Health and Wellness Department. I worked in multiple programs offered there, including the Maternal Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program, Partial Hospitalization Program, and the ASPIRE Teen Intensive Outpatient Program.

My approach to therapy

Using a strengths-based approach, I provide tailored support and strategies to navigate complex challenges and foster resilience. I will honor your self-determination and challenge you as well. Through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other evidenced-based modalities, we will create a foundation of healthy thought patterns and coping skills that are aligned with your values as an individual. We can explore how your past informs your present, choosing to leave behind that which may no longer be helpful. I hope to empower you to choose you, recognizing you hold the power of choice every day.

What you can expect from me

In an initial session, I will start out by introducing myself and answering any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. From there, I would like to learn why you are seeking support at this time and what your goals for therapy are. After the initial session, I will write a treatment plan that we can review at the subsequent session.
