Great to meet you!

Hi, and welcome to the first steps in starting counseling. I know it can feel overwhelming to reach out, but you’ve already taken a brave step forward. Counseling, to me, isn’t about rigid rules or one-size-fits-all solutions—it’s about listening, understanding, and working together. Whether it’s for you or your child, I’m here to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore challenges and build on strengths.

My approach to therapy

I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective counseling. It’s important to me that our work together takes place in a safe, trusting space where you feel heard and understood. My extensive background in trauma work, along with years of experience supporting children and families, allows me to work comfortably with individuals from all walks of life. Rather than committing to a single therapeutic approach, I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods, tailoring my approach to fit your unique needs as we get to know each other and begin the work.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and empowering environment where they feel safe to be their most authentic selves. Our sessions are a judgment-free space, focused on understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and developing practical tools you can use beyond the therapy room. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and more confident in your ability to navigate life’s challenges.
