Great to meet you!

I'm Chloe Ragusa, a queer LCSW based in SoCal. I am an eclectic therapist and use techniques from many different schools of thought to provide care tailored to each of my client's needs. I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and am proud to be part of it.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic approach to therapy. Each person is a unique and complex blend of emotions and experiences, and I believe the techniques I use should be fitted to the person rather than a "one size fits all" approach. I like to let my client set the tone, and weave technique into our session so that the focus is on the person. I work within the LGBTQIA+ community and provide trauma-informed, sex-positive, and kink-friendly perspectives because therapy should always be judgment free.

What you can expect from me

Therapy should feel like a relief, not a chore. I strive to create a comfortable environment where clients can be themselves, because a person cannot improve if they are not accepted as they are. My communication style is chill, casual, respectful, and open to feedback. I like to focus on the issue that my client feels is important and gently guide toward other factors that might be contributing to the problem. At the end of the day, your therapy should be about what is meaningful to you.
