Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience working with individuals of all ages navigating life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and a culturally responsive approach. I specialize in supporting clients through adjustment issues, grief, trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with new and expecting mothers, helping support women through the emotional and mental health changes that can come with pregnancy and the postpartum period. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their healing journey. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I approach therapy with empathy, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity, while also helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life. I understand that each person’s experiences and needs are unique, so I tailor my approach to meet clients where they are. Whether navigating trauma, grief, adjustment challenges, or the transition into motherhood and postpartum life, I focus on helping clients feel empowered, supported, and understood throughout the healing process.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during our first session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and heard as we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and any goals you hope to work toward. I also take time to learn about your background, strengths, and support systems so I can better understand your unique experiences. The first session is a collaborative conversation focused on building trust, creating a safe space, and developing a plan that feels supportive and realistic for your needs.
