Great to meet you!

Chris Dockins offers trauma-informed, faith-integrated counseling rooted God's Word and informed by Interpersonal Neurobiology. He helps clients navigate anxiety, emotional distress, and relational challenges through goal-oriented therapy that fosters safety, clarity, and lasting transformation.

My approach to therapy

Chris approaches counseling in a relaxed manner and stresses the powerful opportunity that counseling offers. This is seen within the context of perspective, teamwork, and goals as foundational components to beginning a solid counseling relationship.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, Chris will walk you through the three important aspects of perspective, teamwork, and goals. But in addition to this, he will stress the importance of having an ongoing focus in a two-pronged approach - reactive & proactive. The reactive approach is focused on addressing the present issue and how you are reacting to it in the moment, on a day-to-day sense. The proactive approach has to do with asking why. Why is this issue present and why are you reacting the way that you are.
