Great to meet you!
I have been working in Higher Education in Massachusetts for 25 years, serving in a variety of roles before taking my current position as Assistant Vice President for Student Life at BSU.
I received my doctorate (Psy.D.) and certificate of advanced graduate study (CAGS) from the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology, where I followed a clinical psychology track and an organizational psychology subspecialty. I completed my M.Ed. in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy at Springfield College. My undergraduate degree was a B.S. in Psychology and Classical History from Union College.
My clinical interests and specialties include occupational and organizational psychology, marriage and family therapy, and issues related to depression, anxiety, OCD and habit change. I spent several years working in home based substance abuse treatment and family stabilization. I have also had significant experience with crisis intervention and response, particularly within higher education, and as a result I have worked with a great many first responders and healthcare providers.
