Great to meet you!

We can move forward, overcome, learn and grow, seeking peace, balance, happiness. I was a NYS Certified School Psychologist for 16 years, and have 7 years of combined supervised and licensed experience as a Mental Health Counselor. I have several degrees in addition to Mental Health Counseling which broadens my perspectives and experience. I was a Training Consultant for Dale Carnegie Training. I also have a Jack Nash Honors MBA, working in foreign exchange capital markets for several years. Counseling however is my calling, my purpose.

My approach to therapy

I meet my patients where they are. The best part of my job is seeing my patients make significant progress. Therapy is about helping you find your inner strength, giving you the right tools, and helping you stay on a path to your mental health, relationship, family, career, or other goals.

What you can expect from me

Our sessions will focus on making sure you know you can do this. We will talk about your goals, steps to get there, and work toward those goals. At times it will be quite structured, and at times there will be things that come up that are worthy of discussion. My goal is supportive, nonjudgmental, solution oriented, thought provoking and insightful conversations that lead you to the progress you want.
