Great to meet you!

I am a Trauma Certified, Licensed Therapist and Peacetime Army Veteran. Over the past 30 years, I have had the honor of serving individuals, couples and families dealing with a variety of issues. Big or small, experiencing struggles are a part of life. The difference between suffering versus overcoming sometimes requires we ask for help. When the challenge becomes too much or the burden too heavy, opening ourselves to the support from someone trustworthy can start the journey toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is "Down to Earth," personable and holistic, with an emphasis on empowerment through self-awareness and relationally healthy collaboration. This includes a combination of compassion, experience, education and a commitment toward inspiring and supporting others toward positive change. My devotion stems from the experience of overcoming my own personal adversity, a desire to pay it forward and the professional knowledge I have gained specializing in adverse experiences, trauma, resilience and the power of healthy relationships with ourself and others.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that everyone seeking counseling will achieve a clearer level of self-awareness and a rejuvenated sense of purpose, hope and empowerment. If you are struggling alone, please believe that you do not have to suffer any longer. There are many who truly care, have the experience and knowledge to assist and are willing to collaborate together toward something new...you just have to ask.
