Great to meet you!

I'm an LMFT centered in San Diego, California. I have a BA in Psychology from UCLA, and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University. I have experience in the community and private practice setting; working with clients who have difficulties with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, interpersonal and intrapersonal dysregulation, grief, shame and guilt.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In order to help clients through their journey, I tend to use Narrative Therapy as I believe that your story does not define you; however, I will often borrow skills that are found within Internal Family Systems (IFS) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) if that's more of what you're looking for.

What you can expect from our first session

I like to create an open, warm, and welcoming environment where I truly meet you where you are as opposed to viewing your world through my personal lens. I'm here to work for and with you, you tell me where you want to go, and I will do my best to help you get there. We're all looking for similar things, but there are a myriad of ways to get there and I want to ensure that I help you in the ways that YOU need.
