Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience in behavioral health. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families dealing with emotional, relational, behavioral, and substance use concerns. My goal is to provide thoughtful, practical support that helps clients better understand themselves and move forward with greater clarity.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and straightforward. I believe that many of the answers clients are seeking already exist within them, but sometimes it takes the right questions, reflection, and support to bring those answers into focus. I work with clients to explore patterns, identify what may be getting in the way, and develop realistic strategies for change. I balance encouragement with appropriate challenge and tailor the work to each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily about getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you would like to be different. I work to create a relaxed, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly and at your own pace. We will begin identifying goals together and discuss what a useful path forward might look like. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can go from there.
