Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm glad you're here!

Looking for a therapy experience where negative thinking patterns are challenged, bottled-up feelings are welcomed, and communication improves—even when conversations get tough? My work is built around these approaches. With over 20 years of experience, my therapy style includes active feedback, real dialogue, and yes—sometimes a little humor to lighten heavy moments.

Looking for a Christian Counselor? I’m happy to integrate our shared journey of faith into the therapeutic process. My approach honors the role of your spiritual life, and I’m committed to supporting you in alignment with Christian values. That said, I have no desire or intention to circumvent the guidance of your pastor or other spiritual leaders. Instead, I aim to complement that support as we walk together toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

Bring the thoughts that aren’t helping you anymore, and let’s figure out how to shift them toward more helpful perspectives. I value meaningful connection, but as trust builds, I’m also known for being direct. Clients often seek me out because I won’t sugarcoat or dance around the issues—we get to what matters.

What you can expect from me

I like to use an introductory session to give us a chance to get acquainted, and to learn more about what you are looking for in comparison to what I offer to see if it might be a good match for us to work together. I forsee this session being more casual and conversational in nature. There is a really good chance you will get a glimpse of my humor, too!
