Great to meet you!

Hello, and thank you for taking a look at my bio. I earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2003 and have been fully licensed since 2008. I have worked in the Mental Health field for over 20 years serving all aspects of a Non-profit agency meeting the needs of youth and families from a diverse range of demographics and backgrounds. Specific treatment areas include Individual therapy with both youth and adults.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a client centered/Humanistic perspective. I like to join my clients "where they are at" in any given phase or season of their lives. Trust, compassion, respect, and non-judgment are the cornerstones of my counseling approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients may take a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, improved coping mechanisms to manage challenges, the ability to identify patterns in their life, increased self-awareness, new perspectives on situations, and the skills to navigate difficult emotions, ultimately leading to positive changes in their life and well-being; all while feeling supported and empowered in a safe and confidential space
