Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Chrisanne Martone, LPC and Clinical Psychology Ph.D. candidate. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Lonestar Psych Testing and GFWC under Drs. Borromeo and Dr. Ngo. As a Clinical Supervisor, I oversaw operations and supported a diverse team, offering counseling and psychological evaluations. With over 10 years of experience and degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA, I’ve worked in multiple settings, fostering growth and change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative & holistic, blending humanistic, cognitive, and behavioral therapies. I specialize in mood & anxiety disorders, trauma, relationships, body image, identity, spirituality, and wellness. Using creativity, mindfulness, & trauma-informed care, I honor each client’s strengths and identity. My goal is to provide a supportive space to foster growth, resilience, and self-awareness. Together, we’ll uncover patterns, build tools, & create lasting change for clarity and balance.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space to discuss your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share your story and hopes for change, and together we’ll set initial goals to guide our work. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental, with a touch of humor to help you feel at ease. The session will be conversational, focusing on creating a supportive environment where you feel secure, valued, and ready to begin your therapeutic journey.
