Christa Marie Aslanian, MSN, APRN, PMHNP‐BC, is a board‐certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing accessible, compassionate, and evidence‐based care to adults and older adults throughout Colorado. I created Mountain Bluebird Psychiatry to offer the kind of care I believe everyone deserves: thoughtful, patient‐centered, and rooted in dignity. I’m dedicated to making mental health support available for rural communities and older adults who often face barriers to care. My goal is always to build a relationship in which you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered to make decisions that support your well-being.

Christa’s approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma‐informed. She believes healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely heard, which reassures the audience of her caring nature. Her work centers on clear communication, shared decision‐making, and practical support that honors each person’s dignity, autonomy, and lived experience. She partners closely with patients, families, and care teams to create individualized treatment plans that fit real lives — not the other way around.

My clinical style blends evidence‐based psychiatric care with a holistic understanding of the emotional, medical, social, and environmental factors that shape well‐being. She is especially passionate about supporting older adults as they navigate memory changes, mood symptoms, complex medical needs, and life transitions.
