Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. My role isn’t to tell you what to do—it’s to walk alongside you, helping you better understand yourself, work through life’s challenges, and build the confidence and skills to move forward. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and strengths-based techniques, but I also believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship we build together.

Every person is different, so I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs. With younger children, that may look like play-based therapy. With teens and adults, it often feels like a comfortable conversation where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. My goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools they can use in everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. My approach is warm, supportive, and interactive. I take time to understand your story, help you recognize your strengths, and work alongside you to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies that fit your life while moving toward meaningful, lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply the beginning of your journey. It’s a chance for us to get to know one another, talk about what brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from the counseling process. There’s no pressure to have all the answers or share more than you’re ready to. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you can be yourself, ask questions, and begin building a trusting relationship. Together, we’ll identify your goals, explore the challenges you’re facing, and create a plan that fits your unique needs.

My hope is that you leave your first session feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, and reassured that you don’t have to navigate life’s journey alone.
