A bit about my approach to therapy

Christa has always had a desire to come alongside people in their journeys of emotional and mental well-being. She is passionate about creating space for clients to wrestle with difficult questions and address underlying causes of their distress. She deeply believes that many of our most painful or confusing experiences in life are also ripe with growth, life, and hope – if we have courage to walk forward on the journey we never would have planned for ourselves.

What you can expect from our first session

Christa strives to approach each of her clients with curiosity, warmth, and empathy, knowing that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation of healing and growth. Her aim is to use evidence-based practice to empower clients to experience integrated healing of their heart, mind, and emotions, and make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. She most often utilizes emotional and cognitive skills from CBT and DBT with more person-centered approaches such as narrative therapy.
