Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, and Virginia. The disorders I work with are bipolar disorders, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self injurious behaviors, crisis interventions, and trauma. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy working with different ethnic and religious backgrounds. I am very familiar with the African culture, because I come from Nigeria.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have helped a lot of individuals find closure with their traumas, and process memories. My goal is to provide you with insights into situations that affect your daily functioning, improve areas in your life that has been challenging, and help you develop a healthy mental health. Furthermore, I will provide you with some tools to assist you in coping with your emotional response to triggering environments and situations.

What you can expect from our first session

After your session with me, you can expect to gain insight on how to navigate some of the challenges in your life, gain a new self of confidence, feel validated, and develop some great and healthy coping tools.
