Great to meet you!

As a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 10 years in mental health, I have worked with individuals and couples going through various relational and life challenges. Having faced my own difficult seasons, I realize no one is immune from a broken heart that can feel overwhelming and debilitating. I work with individuals on relational topics including infidelity, broken trust, communication, grief and loss, divorce-recovery, women's issues and extended family problems.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, you are the expert on you, your experiences, your feelings, and your goals. Through the use of empathy and compassion, I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to find clarity, heal your broken heart, and renew your strength so that you can move forward from whatever has you stuck. As a Christian, it is important for you to note that if you desire, I can integrate faith into our sessions. However, it is equally important to note that I will never force my views on you.

What you can expect from me

Unfortunately, I don't have a magic wand to fix everything. However, you will feel understood and accepted right where you are in your journey, clarity as you walk the path, and hope as you set your mind on new destinations. I'll often use homework between sessions to help you get there. Through our work together, you will gain the skills you need to be resilient for the rest of your life. Resilience will move you past whatever has you heartbroken and stuck, give you hope, and lead you to peace.
