Great to meet you!

Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

Reaching out for support takes courage, and finding the right therapist matters. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with a Ph.D. in Addiction Psychology, bringing more than two decades of experience helping adolescents, adults, couples, families, and professionals navigate life's most challenging seasons. My background spans behavioral health leadership, addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and integrated mental health services.

I specialize in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, ADHD, relationship concerns, addiction, burnout, and chronic stress. I also enjoy working with high-achieving professionals who often appear successful on the outside while privately carrying overwhelming emotional, personal, or professional burdens.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I integrate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, neuraffirming, and mindfulness-based strategies, to help clients develop lasting skills rather than temporary solutions. Together, we'll identify patterns that are no longer serving you, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

I believe healing is about more than symptom reduction. It's about rediscovering your strengths, restoring hope, improving relationships, and creating a life that aligns with your values and purpose. Whether you're facing a recent challenge or have been carrying emotional pain for years, you don't have to navigate it alone.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. My priority is creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where you feel safe to share your story at your own pace.

During our initial session, we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, review relevant personal and mental health history, and identify the goals you hope to achieve. I also want to understand your strengths, values, support systems, and what has or hasn't worked for you in the past.

Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that is realistic, meaningful, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or addiction, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of where we are starting, what our focus will be, and practical strategies you can begin using right away.

I view therapy as a partnership. You can expect honesty, compassion, evidence-based guidance, and a space where you are challenged with care, celebrated for your progress, and supported every step of the way. My goal is not simply to help you cope but to help you build the insight, resilience, and confidence needed to create lasting change.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and lasting wellness.
