Great to meet you!
As someone of Latin American heritage, I am fluent in Spanish and value the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience. I am also a military veteran and military spouse, which has given me personal experience with the unique challenges, transitions, and experiences that can come with military life. This perspective is especially meaningful to me when working with veterans, service members, spouses, and military-connected families.
I have experience working in a variety of settings with individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges, including legal concerns, military-related experiences, end-of-life issues, grief and loss, immigration, substance use, self-harm, domestic abuse, crisis situations, and challenges affecting youth, among others. These experiences have strengthened my ability to meet people where they are and provide support that is responsive to their unique needs, circumstances, and goals.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy traveling and learning from different cultures, perspectives, and life experiences. I consider myself open-minded and a lifelong learner, and I am continually growing both personally and professionally. I am intentional about practicing what I say and striving to show up as the best version of myself for the people I serve as well as the people in my life.
