Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to helping individuals achieve better mental health and overall well-being. I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where every individual feels heard, respected, and understood. I believe that everyone deserves compassionate, accessible, and high-quality mental health care. My goal is to help individuals navigate life's challenges, recognize their strengths, and work toward living healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, holistic, individualized, and collaborative. I recognize that every person has a unique story, and I take the time to understand each individual's experiences, concerns, and treatment goals. I utilize evidence-based psychiatric practices, comprehensive evaluations, medication management when appropriate, and supportive therapeutic interventions to develop personalized treatment plans. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships, empowering clients to actively participate in their care, and addressing the emotional, psychological, and social factors that influence mental health. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, or other mental health challenges, I strive to meet you where you are and support you throughout your journey toward healing and lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

First session with me is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your concerns, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will take time to listen to your story, understand what brings you to treatment, and learn about your mental health history, current symptoms, personal experiences, and treatment goals.

We will discuss how your symptoms may be affecting your daily life, review relevant medical and psychiatric history, and explore treatment options that best meet your individual needs. When appropriate, we may discuss medication management and other evidence-based treatment approaches.

I encourage open and honest communication, and you are welcome to ask questions or share any concerns along the way. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in decisions about your care.

You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. Come as you are. Together, we will develop a personalized plan and take the first steps toward improved mental health, healing, and overall well-being.
