Great to meet you!

Raising a child who is struggling can feel overwhelming, especially when school becomes part of the stress. I work with children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, behavioral challenges, school-related stress, and family conflict, including the special education process: IEPs, 504 Plans, school meetings, and advocating for the right accommodations and supports. I also support families through emotional regulation, social difficulties, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where your child can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop skills that carry into everyday life. With your consent, I collaborate with schools, educators, and medical providers so everyone is working toward your child's well-being. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and former School Counselor, and I would love to help your family move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that meaningful progress happens when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to develop practical skills they can use in everyday life. When working with children and adolescents, I also collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to help bring those skills into the home and create greater balance for the entire family.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you your child feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, current concerns, strengths, and goals for treatment. When working with children and adolescents, I may also spend time speaking with parents or caregivers to better understand the family, school, social, and behavioral factors that may be impacting your child. Together, we’ll begin identifying practical strategies and areas to focus on moving forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to develop a plan that feels appropriate and manageable for you and your family.
