Welcome! My name is Christianne (Christi) Wolesky and I am a friendly, empathetic, and caring therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduation I worked in the social work field in various positions for 14 years, and I have been practicing therapy for approximately 10 years.
I enjoy working with children (7+ years) through adolescents, and adults. I work with a variety of clients seeking help with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions. I encourage clients to identify their own strengths, empower them to make positive changes, and work within a client-centered approach.
During the first session I will discuss confidentiality, mandatory reporting, and discuss how we can work together in a therapeutic relationship. I begin by getting to know the client, and building rapport and trust. I complete a full assessment with the client by gathering background information, symptoms, and information on daily functioning.
