Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience practicing psychotherapy with adults, I specialize in offering treatments that have been proven effective for mental health conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. The techniques I use include EMDR, prolonged exposure therapy, and other cognitive behavioral therapies. I have years of training in motivational interviewing to help people work through places in their lives they may feel stuck but hope for change. I also bring a deep level of experience serving veterans, military service members, as well as first responders and have a strong understanding of the unique needs of this population. While I have a number of therapies in my toolbox to offer someone, I am flexible in finding what will work best for each individual. Deeply passionate about what I do, I enjoy getting to know my clients and believe they deserve to be understood for who they are without bias or assumptions. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach as a therapist is to combine empathic listening with effective interventions. I believe therapy will produce the most benefit when there is trust and partnership so I work hard to make sure my clients know they are cared for, safe, and supported.

What you can expect from me

My clients will feel heard, understood, and empowered. Through through their work with me they will develop the tools and knowledge to make positive and healing life changes.
