Great to meet you!

My therapeutic style is to ask a lot of questions and really try to find the answers to what is bothering you. In our sessions, you will cry, laugh, talk excessively or talk a little. Our sessions will be all about you and what you need in the moment. I want our sessions to be a safe place for you to be comfortable. Bring your treats and your tissues. Bring your patience and your strength. We will be together and I will support you when you are feeling weak. Usually, I see what makes you special first. You will need to tell me what is wrong.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a learning space. You will learn about yourself as we speak. I also love to teach coping skills for various symptoms such as anxiety, depression and anger. During our sessions, I will most often use modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy. I also want to work on finding solutions and will help you set goals for your own well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will talk about the rules of therapy. Also, we will review your background information, your measures and jump right into talking.
