Great to meet you!

My clinical training at Columbia University and professional experience allows me to tailor an approach that will best fit with you. I enjoy working to understand the different ways in which people experience and perceive things and believe strongly in working to create self-awareness within my clients. I am a client-centered therapist who believes therapy is a collaboration where we work together towards your goals. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults.

My approach to therapy

I approach my clients by first meeting them where they are at to learn who they are & to assess their needs & goals. I place importance in creating both trust & connection to help my clients feel heard & understood. I have a passion for helping individuals throughout various life stages & struggles not only to overcome them, but move towards the life they deserve. I draw from psychodynamic, interpersonal-focused, self-compassion, CBT, mindfulness, multicultural, & positive psychology approaches.

What you can expect from me

Therapy works best when it is a collaboration between the therapist & the client working together towards your goals. In working with me, you will find a warm, empathetic, & compassionate therapeutic relationship, which will allow you to create strategies to make the adjustments you need to improve your life. Walking away from sessions, you will have insight, strategies to cope with, or a greater perspective on whatever it is you're coming into the session with.
