My name is Chrissy, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Tulane University. I have worked in a mental health walk-in, community-based center for the past 6 years. Before entering the mental health field, I spent many years as a business owner, in leadership and management, with client-focused roles. My life experiences continue to inform my understanding of the dynamics in human experiences, relationships, and especially with people going through life transitions.
I believe that investing in yourself yields the greatest return. While we are shaped by our past experiences, we are not defined by them. My approach integrates attachment theory, existential exploration, and humanistic principles to help clients understand longstanding patterns, navigate life's challenges, and cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships Therapy isn't simply symptom reduction, but an opportunity to explore who you truly are, what matters the most, and how you want to live in the face of uncertainty, perceived limitations, and challenges.
Therapy is a collaborative conversation, not an interrogation. During our first session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we'll begin exploring the experiences and relationship patterns that may be influencing your current challenges. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibility of change.
