Great to meet you!

Seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, especially when you're not sure exactly what you need. I provide thoughtful psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My behavioral health experience spans nearly nine years across community and school-based mental health, substance-use treatment, geriatric behavioral health, behavioral health home care, and outpatient psychiatric settings. I believe care works best when there is time to understand the whole picture and determine the next steps together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, warm, and focused on understanding you as a whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I take time to listen to your concerns and learn about your history, daily life, relationships, strengths, and goals before making recommendations.

I believe patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and included in decisions about their care. When medication may be helpful, I will explain the options, expected benefits, possible risks or side effects, and what we will monitor over time. We will make treatment decisions together and develop a plan that feels realistic for your life.

My goal is not to rush you through an appointment or offer a one-size-fits-all solution. I want you to leave visits with a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and practical next steps for moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a chance for us to slow down and discuss what has been going on, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope will improve. We will review your symptoms, mental health history, current medications, medical history, and other factors that may be affecting your well-being.

Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, coping strategies, behavioral changes, coordination with other providers when appropriate, and regular follow-up to monitor progress. My goal is for you to feel comfortable asking questions, understand your treatment options, and leave with a plan that feels thoughtful, clear, and collaborative.
