My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard and understood while also gaining tools that you can use in your everyday life.
I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed interventions, and mindfulness-based strategies. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to your distress, develop healthier ways of responding, and work toward meaningful changes that fit your goals and values.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I especially enjoy helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
My style is supportive but also direct when appropriate. I won't simply tell you what you want to hear, I’ll help you examine unhelpful patterns, challenge thoughts and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies for moving forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your goals, experiences, and readiness for change guide our work together.
