Great to meet you!

If you're a mom who looks like she has it all together but feels anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly on edge inside, you're not alone, and you don't have to carry it quietly.

I'm Christina Chong, a licensed marriage and family therapist in Miami, and I specialize in helping moms with anxiety. I work with women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the identity shift of motherhood, as well as moms of older kids who are stretched thin and missing who they were before.

I earned my M.S. from the University of Miami and am licensed in Florida. Before starting Grace and Growth Therapy, I worked in outpatient and treatment settings supporting people with anxiety, mood concerns, and major life changes, and I spent time as a program manager in a university coaching unit.

My work draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Together, we'll untangle anxious thoughts, quiet the constant worry and self-criticism, and get clear on what matters most to you.

As a mom of two, I know how quickly your own needs slide to the bottom of the list. My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free, and we'll go at your pace.

If you're ready for a space that's just for you, I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy, but I focus less on labels and more on helping you understand your experience and find what works in your daily life. We’ll look at patterns, build insight, and develop tools you can actually use outside of sessions. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, non-judgmental, and grounded, where you can be honest and move at your own pace. If it’s important to you, I can also incorporate a faith-informed perspective into our work.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and start understanding what brought you in. You don’t need to have everything figured out. I’ll guide the conversation and help you put words to what you’re experiencing. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’re hoping for, and what working together might look like. Most importantly, it’s a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and not rushed.
