Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges, relationship concerns, and major transitions. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, communication difficulties, relationship concerns, divorce and separation, life transitions, family-of-origin patterns, and the impact of addiction or problematic alcohol use on relationships and families. I also enjoy working with individuals who want to reconnect, improve communication, rebuild trust, or better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck.

My approach is compassionate, practical, solution-focused, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method principles, cognitive-behavioral strategies, solution-focused therapy, and family systems perspectives. Together, we’ll explore what is happening, identify your strengths and goals, and develop meaningful, achievable steps toward change.

Therapy can be a place to speak openly without judgment while gaining tools to feel more confident, connected, and hopeful. Whether you’re navigating a difficult transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or hoping to build healthier relationships, I’m here to support you as you move forward.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy. I believe therapy should be a safe place to be honest, gain perspective, and better understand yourself while developing practical tools for meaningful change.

I especially enjoy working with adults who are navigating relationship concerns individually. This includes individuals who want to improve their marriage or relationship, better understand relationship patterns, improve communication, navigate conflict, and develop healthier boundaries. We focus on what you can understand, change, and control within your own life and relationships.

I also work with adults adjusting to divorce and separation, including the emotional challenges of ending a relationship, rebuilding confidence and identity, navigating changes in family dynamics, and creating a healthy path forward. Other areas of focus include anxiety, stress, life transitions, family-of-origin concerns, self-esteem, and the impact of addiction or problematic alcohol use within relationships and families.

My approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, family systems and transgenerational perspectives, and Gottman-informed principles. I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals.

My goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen your boundaries, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and feel more confident in making healthy choices for yourself, your relationships, and your

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, welcomed, heard, and understood. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you hope will feel different in your life.

We’ll explore your current concerns, relevant background, relationship patterns, and the goals you would like to work toward. I’ll also get to know your strengths, what has helped you in the past, and what may be leaving you feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Together, we’ll create an initial direction for therapy that feels realistic, supportive, and meaningful to you. Depending on your needs, therapy may help you strengthen your marriage or relationship, improve communication, work through conflict, establish healthier boundaries, gain clarity about a relationship, adjust to divorce or another major life transition, manage anxiety or stress, or develop greater confidence and self-understanding.

I want you to leave your first session feeling genuinely listened to, supported, and hopeful about moving forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we can adjust our goals and approach as we learn more about what you need.
