Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Christina Doss, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) offering flexible daytime, evening, and late-night appointments to make mental health care easier to fit into your life.

I provide medication management + psychotherapy for adults, young adults, adolescents ( 12 + ) throughout Ohio. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD/ADD, depression, depression, mood changes, emotional well-being OCD, C-PTSD, college/academic stress, workplace stress/burnout and concerns related to hormonal changes, including PMDD, perimenopause, menopause, and postpartum depression (PPD). I also support individuals working through family, marriage, and relationship concerns.

Many people come to treatment during periods of change or uncertainty—college and academic challenges, career transitions, relationship or marriage difficulties, divorce, parenting stress, grief, health concerns, or simply adjusting to a new stage of life.

If you’re feeling mentally exhausted or overwhelmed, or struggling with focus, attention, staying on task, organization, motivation, or getting things done, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. We can work together to identify what’s getting in the way and develop practical tools and treatment strategies personalized to your needs.

As an independent provider, I believe meaningful mental health care starts with feeling heard, seen, and supported. I want you to have a space where you can be yourself, talk openly about what’s happening, and feel actively involved in your treatment.

You are worth it. Schedule an appointment, and together we’ll work toward helping you feel more confident, supported, and equipped to live your life to its fullest potential. You don’t have to do it alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, intentional, and individualized. I combine evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy, taking the time to understand your symptoms, what may be contributing to them, and how they are affecting your everyday life. Care is collaborative and focused on reducing symptoms, building insight, strengthening coping skills, improving day-to-day functioning, and helping you feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and like yourself again.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, judgment-free space to share your story at your own pace. We’ll take time to understand what you’ve been experiencing, the symptoms or concerns that brought you to care, and how they’ve been affecting your everyday life.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your history, current symptoms and concerns, previous treatment experiences, and what you’re hoping to improve. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, exploring what may be contributing to how you’re feeling, discussing treatment and medication options when appropriate, and creating a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and individualized to your needs.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of what comes next. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward the changes that matter most to you.
