Great to meet you!

My name is Christina Dunne, LCSW. In my career thus far I have worked with adults with disabilities, adolescents with severe mental health concerns, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My passion is helping clients to better understand themselves and why they are the way they are.

I got my BA in Psychology from SUNY Empire State College and my Masters of Social Work from Adelphi University.

My specialties are adolescents, anxiety, depression, trauma work, and I often use cognitive behavioral techniques in treatment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take an empathic, cognitive approach and work to meet my clients where they are at in each session, while encouraging reflection and challenging negative self talk that may arise.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling at ease, and like a weight has been lifted. They can be assured that someone in their life cares and understands and will be there to support them through future difficulties.
