Great to meet you!

My clinical training has focused on working with adults, children, adolescents, and their families in both private practice and school based settings. Through my experience working at a DBT clinic, I have facilitated skills training groups and worked with many clients struggling with emotion regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Prior to entering the field of Psychology, I worked in artist management in the music industry and love to bring creativity into my work and to help others foster their own creativity. When appropriate, you can also count on me to bring a little humor into the work.

My approach to therapy

I practice through a client-centered, nonjudgemental lens and really emphasize building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I really enjoy working individually with my clients to get to know them and their natural gifts and passions. I integrate interventions from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Humanistic, Solution Focused, and practice through a trauma informed and social justice lens. I have a specialty of working with neurodiverse adolescent and adults.

What you can expect from me

A first session includes assessment, rapport building, and collaboratively creating treatment goals the client is looking to work on.
