Great to meet you!

I'm Christina Gaglione, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada with over 8 years of experience as a clinical supervisor and a background in community mental health. I'm returning to individual therapy after several years leading a nonprofit, because direct clinical work is where I feel most effective. I'm currently completing advanced EMDR training and actively working with clients as part of that certification, which means I bring both a high level of clinical structure and genuine investment in the EMDR process to every session. I work with adults across Nevada via secure video sessions. I take trauma seriously, I use evidence-based methods, and I move at a pace that actually works for your nervous system.

My approach to therapy

My primary approach is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), one of the most well-researched treatments for trauma and PTSD. I draw on trauma-informed principles and my clinical supervision background to bring structure and intention to each session. I don't use generic treatment plans. I pay close attention to what's shifting between sessions and adjust accordingly. Sessions are collaborative, carefully paced, and focused on real, measurable change, not just talking about things indefinitely.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a formal intake. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. I'll explain how EMDR works and whether it seems like the right fit for you. You won't be doing trauma processing on day one. The first few sessions are about building safety and understanding what we're working with. I offer weekday morning and afternoon availability. Most sessions are 53 minutes.
