Great to meet you!

I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My experience and training includes internal family systems, clinical trauma competency, parenting skills, domestic violence treatment, play therapy, filial therapy, and synergetic approaches to treatment.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in the treatment of complex trauma, generalized anxiety, and attachment disruptions. I help clients explore and triage impaired areas of their lives (relationships, career, school, etc) while moving toward holistic healing as they get reacquainted with their true selves. I work with clients across the lifespan, and I enjoy opportunities to address and heal intergenerational trauma experienced by wounded parents, children, and adult children who feel "stuck in time."

What you can expect from me

I aspire to provide a place for clients to sort through jumbled pieces of their lives with a combination of empathy and gentle challenging, and always from a place of nonjudgmental acceptance. I tell clients what I see, and I encourage them to do the same. It is through this working relationship that most effective healing takes place. I believe in consistent growth and setting small, obtainable goals between sessions so that clients can feel progress and functional rehabilitation as they move toward deeper healing. Self-care and play (yes, adults need play too) is encouraged between sessions in order to obtain maximum benefit from our time together.
